Sports Education Startup KOOH Raises $2.2 Million From HDFC, Others

Sports education and training company KOOH Sports has raised $2.2 million in a fresh round of funding from existing investors such as HDFC, Faering Capital, Elevate Sports and the promoter group. The funds will be used to expand into international markets, enhance product innovations and also increase its working capital to meet high growth needs, the company said.

Chirag Patel, CEO, KOOH Sports said that the company needs to offer better set of holistic sports education services and sports training solutions in the country, and with the fresh round of funding, the company will “gain greater access to world-class facilities and programmes in developed markets like UK, Australia, and Dubai in a way that is cost-effective.”
