The Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP), is conceptualising a round-the-clock TV channel for startups, along the lines of DD Kisan, which was started by the Centre last year, dedicated to the country’s farmers and their issues. DIPP is also planning a reality show, which will be aired on Doordarshan, featuring startup founders and entrepreneurs who would pitch their ideas in front of a panel of investors and mentors to grab funding.
