B2C startups including coffee shops, electronics, accessories will soon be provided space to operate at the large metro stations of Bangalore.
Stations with ample spaces will be rented out to the startups for commercial purposes. With this strategic decision, BMRC aims to make it easy for the commuters who can buy the necessary things right from the metro sation.
The decision which was pending for a while now, but has been confirmed after the metros recorded a ridership of 1, 26,708 commuters using the east-west corridor on Saturday and 119467 on Sunday.
