The Steve Jobs biopic “Jobs” will release in India on August 23. The movie, based on Apples iconic co-founders life and times, would be released by PVR Pictures in India.
The movie is directed by Joshua Michael Stern and Ashton Kutcher plays Steve Jobs in the movie. Besides Ashton Kutcher’s uncanny resemblance to Jobs, the movie has so far failed to impress the tech community in the United States, where Jobs Co-founded Apple Inc and Pixar, two of the most valuable companies on earth.

The depiction of Steve Wozniak, which borders goofy, has also come under fire. Wozniak, the other co-founder of Apple expressed fears that the movie might end up portraying Jobs as a “saint who was ignored, rather than one of the key people who led Apple through failure after failure,” Wozniak was quoted as saying
Woz, as he is called, added
“Jobs came back as the saint and god we now recognize and did then head the creation of other products as great as the Apple , like the iTunes store, the iPod, the retail stores, the iPhone and the iPad. But he was a different person, more experienced and more thoughtful and more capable of running Apple in those later years.” (source)
A trailer of the movie was posted on YouTube in June and is touching a million views. It promises to be a racy watch. Take a look here.
