To start with GSN games acquired Bangalore based Bingo Bash Gaming for $160 million, Snapdeal raised $133.77 million from a new round of funding led by eBay and Vishal Gondal started his new venture with GOQii, a wearable fitness device.
There was also some interesting activity in the Indian online space, especially in e-commerce, with the offline retailers asking the government to introduce an entry tax for online goods, Snapdeal launching its education marketplace and Canon verifying its online vendors.
