Sweden Based E-Vehicle Maker Clean Motion Plans To Invest $10 Million In India In Next Three Years

Clean Motion, a Sweden-based maker of electric vehicles is planning to invest $10 million in India and set up an assembly unit for its Zbee three- wheelers. The investment will be completed in next three years and also help the company expand.

“We plan to invest USD 10 million over the next three years. At the end of the third year, we expect to have a fleet of around 2,000 vehicles cumulatively,” Clean Motion Country Head Anil Arora told PTI.

The company plans to provide last-mile connectivity in urban areas including Bangalore, Mumbai and Hyderabad. The company currently runs its electric three-wheelers in Gurgaon’s DLF Cyber City. The company plans to target mall developers as well as tourist spots.

The company is also looking at locally producing main mechanical parts except for the body which will be imported from Malaysia.
