Swiggy does millions of orders each month with a fleet of over 1.7 lakh delivery partners in more than 120 cities who enable this scale.

Over 20% of Swiggy’s delivery partners in tier 2 & 3 cities like Surat, Belgaum, Guwahati and Lucknow use cycles for delivery

Swiggy is piloting Electric Vehicles (EV) to encourage adoption among its delivery partners which will reduce running cost by up to 40% and result in higher effective pay-outs

Currently, Swiggy is testing EVs from several logistic providers. This is not the first time the company is using electric vehicles for deliveries. Last year, Swiggy’s delivery partners in cities like Delhi and Lucknow carried out deliveries on e-rickshaws.

Do you think companies like Zoomcar (which shutdown its cycle business) are better off being a B2B player (to logistics companies) and not B2C (too many variables/theft issues)?
