Customer Advisory Board (CAB) seems to be a common procedure in SaaS / B2B companies. A set of customers is handpicked for the Board. Periodically they are asked for feedback on the existing product and often are involved while designing the product roadmap. And at times they are also given early access to new features/products.
I'm assuming that this is not a standard procedure for B2C companies (or is it? or is it called something else?). We are into B2C space (Evibe.in: the online platform for party planning) and believe that having such s board would help us in creating a product that people love.
Has anyone here from B2C space tried to set up such Board? If yes, can you please share your experience on how did you setup & manage the board? Or is there any different format compared to B2B space? If so, what is it?
