I have been here at Goa for almost 3 months now and have observed a lot of stuff, very closely.
Prior to where I have been living, it was just a room and I had to eat outside. Majority of tourists both domestic and foreigner live this way, specially domestic ones.
The accommodation where I have shifted has now quite a big kitchen with gas stove, refrigerator and I cook my own food now. Super cheap and healthy.
There are so many foreigner travellers, usually couple and singles, who roam around Goa, like living two or three weeks together at a place and then moving to next beach, they stay generally in single room accommodation because it is cheap and also they don't really need a big place.
But food is definitely a problem because it's like eating three meals a day outside, every day. Sometimes one just crave to cook a meal all by himself and have a really heartful, ask me , so many days I felt like this.
I am sure there are so many tourists and travellers who feel his way on extended stays, even for weekenders, cooking is one extra fun activity.
How about AIRBnB for cooking?
You bring your own food items and we give you place, stacked up kitchen with all spices and oils and condiments and charge per person/per hour.
Whenever one feels like cooking, they can just buy fresh stuff(small store would be there at same premise also), come to CookBnB (Cooking Bowl N Basin), cook their food and just take it away to their place.
I would be starting this at Goa in the coming season and have done already quite a bit of legwork. Interested people in cooking, eating, founding and funding can write to me at - firstname.lastname@example.org
