Whether food delivery has a future or not is a little too big a question for me But here's an observation from all the locations we run our properties in.
Staffing is a perpetual problem, including cooks! People leave, or take a few days off, or have emergencies. Small properties, etc cannot always have backups. Also, skills are limited - we often add variety and local specialities from local eateries where we can. This, I'm sure, is a problem for multiple use cases - small hotels, restaurants, social functions and so on. A reliable, quality, affordable service as a backup/augmented service, or even as an alternative to running a full fledged commercial kitchen, would surely be useful. Imagine this in a popular tourist destination with many such small kitchens, each battling with it's own staff and quality and variety issues.
I don't know what the price points are, and what the traction could be. But came across this problem first hand, so thought I'd share it as an input I know people who're outsourcing laundry, housekeeping already.
