Zimply, a mobile marketplace for home décor and interior designing products has shut down operations, according to a report first published by VCCircle.
It's not clear when or why the Matrix Partners-backed startup closed shop, however, all its founders have supposedly left their jobs months ago.
Although the news of this development only broke out today, interestingly, a Quora thread indicates that Zimply might have shut down as early as February, although this could not be verified.
The company was recently blacklisted by IITs, after it denied jobs to five students at IIT-Guwahati, even after they received their offers.
Zimply was started by IIT Roorkee alumni - Karan Baweja, Viraj Verma and Ishaan Bhola in 2014, as a platform to buy home decoration products including furniture, décor and lighting.
