If you are a company, and you think you can get away pissing off your customers, then you might want to seriously think about the consequences of it.
Especially, if you are an Indian company and your customers are reacting like this
According to a survey conducted by Accenture, of the 25,000 people in 33 countries they interviewed, Indians topped the list of consumers who were willing to switch brands, owing to bad customer experience.
Shitty customer service has not only led to 88% of Indians looking for alternatives but is also costing an astonishing, $412 billion in losses every year for Indian companies.
The obvious offenders are broadband providers, retailers, and banks with their IVRs adding fuel to the fire.
India is followed by the Philippines with 87% of the surveyed customers saying they would ditch brands for poor service.
Ironically, both these countries host customer service centres to some of the world's largest businesses.
