Some skeptical thoughts here:
Do not trust such 'secondary' research. Indic language has been the 'next big what' for a real long time. May be one day it will but in what form and shape, we do not know. Instead of these data, it would be good to see what is happening in your own circles - how / what people are consuming.
I believe Indic language is going to be in the form of 'videos' or 'picture memes' or at best 'short messages' (that all travel through Whatsapp / related apps). Long (or even Medium) form content is going to be too niche. And might be consumed by people who also consume English.
Possible hurdles for a Kannada blog on tech, travel, holiday:
1) Reaching users is going to be super difficult. Indian language portals are filled with clutter (One India, Daily Hunt etc.) and do great SEO. A niche blog is going to be lost in it, even with the best of the SEO tools
2) Users who do a 'Google Search' for such uses (tech, holiday, travel) would be savvy enough and will find more compelling English blogs.
3) Non-English users will have great difficulty in even Googling, because all the 'Indic typing' / 'Voice typing' stuff are not yet usable. They are used only by people who also know English.
My suggestion to you would be to start a 'Whatsapp' group / 'Facebook' page / 'Hike' channel for the Tech/Holiday/Travel updates. And if it does well, create your own app. A blog is not going to be reaching enough users.
Hoping I get wrong with my skepticism.
