A copyright infringement case has been filed against Ola founders Bhavish Aggarwal and Ankit Bhati on a complaint by Lahari Recording Co.
Lahari company (they own the musical rights of Baahubali) owner, Lahari Velu took an Ola Prime and found copyright infringement of several of their music titles.
To proof check, the team hired few prime play cabs and confirmed that the songs were being played in all of them. Following these developments, he filed a complaint with the police who raided the OLA office (via).
Ola and copyrights issue.
For Ola, this isn't anything new - the company was under controversy for using somebody else's picture (from Flickr) for its app launch screen and recently for using somebody else's pic for its hoarding design.
