"When Stitch Fix founder Katrina Lake told Lightspeed Venture Partners, an early investor in her company, that (then) Lightspeed partner Justin Caldbeck had sexually harassed her, the firm asked her to sign a non-disparagement agreement. Not signing, a source suggests, could have endangered her entire company's future. So she signed, and remained silent about her experience."
Now that Silicon Valley's 'sexual harassment' news is all over - Lightspeed simply tweets about the incident and feels sorry about it (removing the harasser from board observer seat is NOThing to boast about).
You actually did MORE. You asked a founder to sign a non-disparagement agreement (i.e. don't talk about it). This is ethically criminal act and you guys should be ashamed of this.
If you are a woman entrepreneur - just cut them off from your pitch list.
