From my observation, start-ups are a great place for ideas. Its almost like, Ideas are on steroids. Every day there are multiple contributors in the start-up to the ideas and some ideas are better and some are out-of-the-box.
But, what is lost in between is the SOLID execution! Why do i say this? Because, teams some times fail to realise that once a decision is taken, no matter how enticing the new/next idea is, the one which is under execution should not be disturbed till the end.
This lead to outcome/output paralysis. In simple words, the original planned idea does not yield results as expected. The teams should focus on Ideas and spend a lot of time planning. But when the idea is being executed, it should be executed to perfection. That is when even a mediocre idea can become really big with exceptional execution.
