If we see opportunity is everywhere, like for example; a guy selling Vada-Idli and Sambhar-Rice out of his maruti van at HSR Layout would be earning more than 97 percentile of software engineer in Bangalore.
The difference is the way India 1 and India 2 sees it.
All these opportunities are India 3 opportunities.
So what is the difference between India 1, India 2 and India 3?
Ah, it's the education and resultant mindset.
India 1 goes to private schools and private colleges.
Since birth, they are told, don't play in the dirt; don't get in the mud. They diligently believe it and carry with it under their armpit for rest of their lives and hence they would never enter such kind of business.
India 2 goes to government schools and government colleges.
As kids, sometimes they used to get muddy and would then get thrashed and carried the brief lesson forward from their mistake, foretold by their parents; you would only get dirty if our get into mud.
India 3 is basically a drop out with balls to the walls and hence, would do anything.
India 3 has spent more time out of class than in it, even during the days, when it was officially school day at home.
It realises the vanity of morals being taught in the suffocating classes and with amples of beating and abuses at home, school and neighbourhood; it is fearless.
It does not mind getting into dirt, because they had been dirty all through their life.
And all these opportunities are lapped by India 3, because they have the right mindset; thanks to their education or rather lack of it.
