Tata Teleservices is on a partnership spree and after partnership with Virgin and DoCoMo, the company has entered into an agreement with retail giant Future Group to offer GSM mobile telephony services under a new brand T24 to tap the customer base of the Kishore Biyani firm.
Under the partnership, Future Group will sell TTSL GSM connections under the brand name T24 to customers in its retail outlets (second franchise model for TTSL, first one being Virgin); the service is only available to Future Group consumers (details).
MVNO or Franchise? Since there aren’t any clear outline for MVNOs in India, Future group took almost a year to come up with a clear service model.
Now that India is flooding with mobile services, can we fight on QoS (quality of service?). Are customers too price sensitive to overlook QoS?
