State-run electronics manufacturing company Indian Telephone Industries (ITI) is now in talks with Indian companies to provide end-to-end network gears. To make this project a success, ITI has also partnered with top-tier technology companies of India – Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Tech Mahindra for the development of 4G and 5G technologies and build a network across the country through an already existing ecosystem of Indian technologies.
France has given the green light to cellular companies operating the 5G network to launch this month. After completing tender for the frequency distribution, ARSEP, the French telecoms regulator announced that the tender fetched 3.3 billion dollars from four companies. 5G technology promises a leap in the amount and speed of wireless data and enables advances in virtual reality and more as sensors and servers are much faster.
