Users in India will also be able to scan a number and pay directly using Truecaller Pay – this is a more convenient way of making quick payments as opposed to scanning QR codes.
Truecaller has unveiled TrueSDK which enables third party apps to onboard users with their Truecaller profile and verified phone number. This service can be used by developers to sign up, update a user’s information, or verify the user’s phone number based identity in their mobile apps through user consent.
The new Intex Aqua Young devices will now incorporate the Truecaller and Truedialer applications. In the past, Truecaller has partnered with Microsoft, Tata DoCoMo and Twitter, to name a few. The app is available on Android, iOS, Windows, BlackBerry, Nokia feature phones, Tizen, and Firefox.
Truecaller, an app that helps identify numbers and allows to block spam calls has developed partnerships to increase touch points with consumers, including Microsoft, Tata DoCoMo, Micromax, Twitter and plans to develop more. Over the past year, Truecaller has been focusing on tier II and III markets.
The feature lets the users set their status and receive or avoid calls. The feature would show the contacts highlighted with a red status icon when they are busy and with green icon when they are free. The update is currently available only for Android users and will soon be launched on Windows.
