Tata Motors has dropped the price of Tigor EV by Rs. 80,000. The price reduction has come in into effect after the recent 7% GST rate cut by GST Council.
Though not available for private ownership, the car will now be available at a starting price of at Rs. 11.58 lakh which does not include FAME II subsidy or TCS 1 percent tax.
The company, in association with Tata Power, has also announced the launch of 7 new Electric Vehicle charging stations in Pune. It plans to launch 45 more such stations in 4 other metro cities.
