- Gang conducting cyber fraud using fake police and courier service has victimized a software engineer and the wife of an IIM-Bangalore faculty member.
- The engineer reported a loss of Rs 33.24 lakh, while the faculty member reported a loss of Rs 1.73 lakh.
- The 39-year-old engineer received a call from a fraud posing as a FedEx courier, stating that a parcel sent in his name using his Aadhaar number, had been seized by police for containing illegal items.
