Telangana district police makes traffic rule violators plant saplings

Along with other applicable fines and punishments, traffic rule violators have to plant a sapling, according to the rules of the police in Mahbubnagar district, Telangana. More than 2,700 saplings have already been planted and the police aim to plant 1 million saplings to contribute to state govt’s initiative to increase green cover.
