We had to move #ProductGeeks Conf twice as we were totally unsure about doing #ProductGeeks Conf.
The key question we were struggling with was:
1. Who is interested in ‘real’ growth, when it can always be bought?
2. Who is the right TG for the conf? Founders?
– They are too busy fund raising / solving operational issues than look at something (i.e. product) which can always be fixed later.
– Product managers? Most of the MNC product managers don’t really need this content (they may not be owning a lot of product decision points) and the ones working for Indian startups / product companies have a notion of ‘I have read Eric Ries – I know everything’.
Plus, did you know that we sacrificed 2 UnPluggd, which has been our core conf for #ProductGeeks Conf (and my team will never forgive me for this)! Well, we missed it because we really wanted to focus on making #ProductGeeks Conf, a great experience.
And largely, because I personally believe that India has more (product) startups than actual products – and high time we fix this equation (read: founders, your T-1 time has begun)
Today, I am extremely proud of what we have achieved ! And I am immensely thankful to all our speakers, attendees and our sponsors – Google India, Sequoia Capital, WebEngage, Reverie, Netcore, Accel Partners and MultiRecruit for all their support.
And special thanks to all those who helped us organize this, especially Sufiyan and Sid. And of course to the NextBigWhat team which made this happen.

We are doubling down on our focus on growing the #ProductThinking in the country. We have just announced the next batch of Product Management course and doing a whole lot of stuff on ProductGeeks.com
