Ringing Bells, makers of the ‘world’s cheapest smartphone’, have now asked the Modi govt for Rs 50,000 crore, so it can deliver on its promise to provide cheap smartphones in India. CEO Mohit Goel said his company is losing between Rs180 and Rs270 on each phone and wants the govt to help him out.
