India’s First iPhone 3D Racing Game called “The Sealink” has now been released on Apple iPad! The game now comes in HD with improved physics, better handling and realistic graphics.
The Sealink, is the First of it’s kind, 3d Racing game on the iPhone, where the player can drive his favourite car on theMumbai Bandra Worli Sea-link. The game has been conceptualized, developed and published by Spiel Studios Pvt. Ltd. with collaborative efforts of their Indian and International team members using the latest and advanced technologies available on the iPhone and iPad platform.
On this occasion, Mohit Sureka, CEO/Founder of Spiel Studios said, “After the great success of the game on iPhone, we had to release it for the iPad. The iPad is selling at the rate of 2 million units per month worldwide, and there lies a great potential in tapping this market. The game was generating close to 10,000 downloads per day for the Independence Day weekend (Aug 14-15 ‘ 10) when it was available for Free! Now in the iPad, with it’s high resolution and faster processor, the game looks and performs even better.”
The Sealink game when launched was Ranked #3 in the games category and #7 overall in the Indian Paid Appstore and is regularly priced at USD 0.99. The iPad version of the game will also be priced in Tier 1 category @ USD 0.99 per download.
The game uses advanced motion-controlled sensing technology with multi-touch support to give the player complete control of the game. The game is compatible on all platforms like iPhone 2G, 3G, 3GS and iPod touch and iPad.
Apart from this there are several official Maruti Suzuki licensed cars like Swift, SX4, Dzire, Vitara, etc. along with a F1 car which the player can drive on the sealink. The game also actively promotes Don’t Drink & Drive as a social cause towards the society.
