Threads now available on the web, can be installed as an app or in Edge Sidebar

  • Threads.net is now accessible through any browser and can be pinned to the Edge Sidebar or installed as a PWA.
  • Initially, using Threads on a Windows 11 PC required Android sideloading, but now it can be opened directly in a browser.
  • Despite some limitations, the web version reportedly looks better and is easier to use than its Android counterpart.
