TiEcon Delhi 2008 : Entrepreneurship Comes of Age

TiECon Delhi, 3 day event is scheduled for  Oct 22nd – 24th @ Delhi (Hotel ITC Maurya) and the theme this time is on ‘Entrepreneurship comes of age‘.

The theme of this year’s conference is“Entrepreneurship Comes of Age”. Indian Entrepreneurship is world-renowned and TiEcon Delhi 2008 is a celebration of the spirit & scale of Entrepreneurship bringing together successful entrepreneurs, investors, industry leaders & other key stake holder’s of the entrepreneurial ecosystem from India & around the world.

> Day 1 will kick start with a complete overview of the funding process-Assessment to Investment co hosted with Indian Angel Network
and FICCI featuring leading investors such as Saurabh Srivastava, Raman Roy and their investee companies.

> Day 2 -23rd October:
Leading policy makers and industry leaders will debate the overall downturn in the macro economic conditions and the opportunity for
entrepreneurs for the times ahead. The power panels featuring leading entrepreneurs and thought leaders would provide the necessary
inspiration and arsenal for entrepreneurs to take their ventures to the next level. This would be followed by industry focus sessions
covering Retail, Media and Entertainment, Mobile telecom, Green buildings, Grass roots innovation, Sports

> Day 3- 24th October:
The last day will see dedicated sessions on the IT/ITES sector initiated with an overview by concerned policy makers and industry
leaders from the IT/ITES sector. The day will progress to diverse entrepreneurial opportunities covering Real Estate Infrastructure,
Health care & wellness, lifestyle, future of internet etc.

The event will witness policy makers (Sir Richard Stagg, Kapil Sibal, Dr. Ganesh Natarajan, Kiran Karnik, Jagdish Khattar, Bobby Bedi, Greg
Chappell, Jyotiraditya Scindia, Pramod Bhasin, Sanjeev Bikhchandani, Preetha Reddy, Arvind Kejriwal and more) and startups can also attend mentoring clinic, guru sessions and of course, the networking sessions.
