TikTok Begins Shifting European Users’ Data to New Irish Data Center

TikTok has kicked off the migration of European users’ data to its new data center in Ireland as part of Project Clover initiative.
Despite delays, data transition likely to be completed by Q4 2024, with additional centers in Ireland and Norway under development.
To enhance security measures, TikTok employs UK-based NCC Group to audit data controls and protections, and manage data flows.
