Times Internet to Bring TechRadar to India; Adding to Ad Inventory

Times Internet has partnered with Future PLC to launch TechRadar, a consumer technology news and reviews brand in India.

Times Internet will be Future PLC’s exclusive partner in India through Times Local Partners (TLP) for content development, events, monetization, and syndication.

The deal is one of the many deals the company has stiched up with foreign players like Gawker media and others. In 2013, TLP partnered with Gawker Media to bring Gizmodo and Lifehacker to India.  Last year, it launched Business Insider India & Askmen.

Lifehacker and Gizmodo didn’t have much of Indian content so far but it seems to be slowly ramping up. The Times group’s Internet arm  is building up their online ad-inventory to grab a bigger share of the Indian advertisers growing digital spend. There is a slight overlap between Gizmodo & TechRadar content but both sites are heavyweights when it comes to traffic.

Here’s a quick look at what Satyan Gajwani, CEO of Times Internet Limited thinks of New Media
