What is so unique about Touchtalent?

USP of Touchtalent is that it provides visibility to creators beyond their immediate social circle without compromising on the ownership of the content. Users get global visibility through initiatives like Online Exhibitions and Country Pages. Touchtalent holds a monthly exhibition where users appreciate the most creative content around a chosen theme. On an average more than a million pageviews are generated through Touchtalent exhibitions. Touchtalent also keeps creators informed on the number of interactions that their profile and posts are receiving from worldwide. These interactions can be tracked and shared in real-time.

The Funding Back Story

The initial focus for the founders was to get decent traction but create extraordinary user experience and engagement. The approach started showing results and Touchtalent became one of the most engaged communities in creative segment.  Founders used this data to convince three angels including Abhishek Goyal of Urbantouch & Tracxn and Dr. Rakshita Shharma, former director of Ranbaxy to invest in early 2013.

Company used these funds for experimenting and strengthening product. Over last two years Touchtalent has shown growth of 30% MoM, a number normally associated with good Y combinator backed startups.

Impressed with the growth SAIF Parters along with 15 angel investors decided to invest around USD 700K.  The illustrious list of angels includes Deep Kalra, Founder of Makemytrip; Sachin and Binny Bansal, Co-Founders of Flipkart; Prashant Malik Co-creator of Cassandra and early team member at Facebook; Amit Ranjan, Co-Founder of Slide Share etc.
