Bangalore based Tracxn has raised undisclosed funding from Nandan Nilekani, Mohandas Pai, Whatsapp’s Neeraj Arora and Junglee Co-Founder Anand Rajaraman, among others.
The Angels who have participated in Tracxn’s latest round also include Japanese investor Teruhide Sato (Founder of Beenos), Girish Mathrubootham (Founder & CEO of Freshdesk) and Aneesh Reddy (Co-Founder and CEO of Capillary Technologies).
Founded in 2013, Tracxn helps venture capital funds, private equity groups and corporate strategy teams globally to track and identify upcoming sectors and interesting investable startups.
Neha Singh, Founder, Tracxn, said, “Investors were our early adopters. But today Large Enterprises is our biggest as well as the fastest growing customer segment. We work with Enterprises & Investors across over 20 countries. As we expand our footprint, we look forward to learn from people who have scaled large businesses globally.” In the last year alone, Tracxn grew its customer base by over 400%, and the company’s boasts of having a clientele which includes likes of BMW, LG, Qihoo, VMWare, Target, Vodafone, Bosch etc., in addition to Venture Funds like Andreessen Horowitz, NEA, Lightspeed.
Tracxn, which has customers across North America, Europe and India, now plans to expand footprint across other regions including Japan, South-East Asia, Middle East and other parts of Europe.
The startup recently raised funding from Ratan Tata and had earlier raised $3.5M from SAIF Partners in April 2015.
