As per a survey, even though over 25% of MSMEs feel that AI and ML are the most crucial tools to stay relevant in the future, most of them have not made any significant investment towards training them.
Almost, 60% of companies are either planning to hire a skilled resource or plan to outsource the tasks. Only around 40% of businesses are looking to upskill the existing workforce, reports Financial Express.
Earlier in September, govt. also announced that it will significantly increase the resources required to help upskill more than 8 lakh youth.
