Twitter closes Sacramento data center to cut costs

• The facility was one of Twitter’s three main data centres before it stopped operating.
• The two remaining facilities are located in Atlanta and Portland. Twitter also plans to downsize the Atlanta data centre in a bid to reduce costs.
