Twitter increases tweet character limit to 25,000 for paid users

  • The change is made after increasing limits to 4,000 and 10,000 characters earlier this year.
  • Twitter Blue subscribers now also allowed to upload 2-hour videos.
  • Unlike Twitter, rivals like Mastodon and Bluesky have much lower character limits per post.
