Twitter Launches Safety Center To Educate Users In Dealing With Online Abuse

Twitter has been making changes to help safeguard users from harassment and in that effort has announced the launch of Safety Center, a place where users can learn how to handle misbehaving users.

Twitter Safety Center

Rather than offering something new, Safety Center will put all the resources a user needs to learn about best practices of handling harassment, etc in one place.

Guides, links to previously announced safety features all find home in Safety Center, offering users a quick and easy way to access information such as how to file police reports against a user that might be threatening them.

Further, Safety Center has separate sections for Teens, Parents and Educators, giving them a relevant information on the platform’s policies, etc.

Twitter adds that more than being a place to access resources when being harassed by someone on its platform, Safety Center is a tool where anyone can learn about online safety regardless of them being on Twitter or not.
