Uber, one of the most successful startups in the world, is giving Indian entrepreneurs a chance to pitch their business idea to a VC via its UberPITCH activity.
UberPITCH is coming to New Delhi, Mumbai and Pune on August 12 and Bangalore on August 13 in partnership with prominent venture firms from across the country.
- In Delhi, entrepreneurs will get to interact with investors from TLabs, SeedFund, Helion Venture Partners and LightSpeed Venture Partners.
- In Mumbai, entrepreneurs will get to interact with investors from Blume Ventures, Nexus Partners, Kae Capital Orios Venture Partners.
- In Bangalore, entrepreneurs will get to interact with investors from SAIF Partners, AngelPrime, Helion Capital and Qualcomm Ventures.
All someone has to do to pitch their idea to a VC is to fire up the Uber app between 12-4 PM on the day UberPITCH is in their city and slide over to the “UberPITCH” view.
If your request is accepted, a car with a VC will arrive to your doorstep. You’ll have 15 minutes to pitch your idea and get feedback from the VC.
Uber says there will be a limited number of rides and users might have to request for the UberPITCH ride more than once. The ride costs the user absolutely nothing.
