The UK COVID tracing app based on the Google-Apple technology and downloaded by at least 19 million people has failed to warn users if they were in close proximity with infected patients. This failure has now been blamed on a code error.
Launched with much fanfare earlier in September and was reportedly, the only app of it’s kind in the world has turned out to be a disappointment.
