E-commerce product recommendation platform Unbxd has raised $2 mn in Series A from Inventus Capital Partners and IDG Ventures India. The company will use the funds to expand in Singapore and in North America.

The Bangalore based in-site search startup Unbxd, which demoed at Unpluggd last year, had raised funding from Indian Angel Network. The two year old startup works with e-commerce websites to improve transactions. Its in-site search bosts e-commerce revenues by helping visitors find the right products.
Pulse, one of the company’s offerings harvests user behavior from an online store and helps merchandising teams to understand their customers better. Greyhound, a context-aware search engine improves conversion. The Unbxd Navigator optimizes categories by sorting them so that more users buy it. The company’s Connect offering lets businesses offer recommendations on personalised e-mail.
