Collaboration Software Company uniRow Raises $1 mn from Global Investors

unirow_thumb.pnguniRow Inc, the company which offers a remote training and assessment platform for enterprises has raised $1 mn in equity funding from global investors. Details of the funding  weren’t disclosed.
The company also incorporated its global headquarters in Delaware.

uniRow’s platform is used by enterprises to train their remote sales teams and connect with geographically scattered workforce, agents and distributors. The company, which started as a multi-purpose live collaboration platform, has decided to focus on its enterprise training products and services, said uniRow.

Pallav Pandey, founder of Knowlarity Communications and an advisor to uniRow, has joined to company as the Chief Operating Officer.

The company, founded by Nimit Kumar works with enterprises from sectors like Banking and Financial Services, Healthcare, Pharmaceuticals and Education to help them deliver efficient remote training and assessment.

uniRow demoed at our startup event UnPluggd last year. In February this year, the company launched a video collaboration tool called Seabiscut. The new version enabled education consultants, online trainers, e-Learning companies and enterprises to deliver interactive webinars using their web browser. Later in May, uniRow also launched an Android app that can be used to host a larger audience including participants on the move.
