OYO has officially launched ‘relationship mode’ for unmarried couples to spend some ‘private time’.
You can now easily find couple-friendly OYO hotels in a particular city by applying the filter on the app or website, and also by turning on the “relationship mode” feature in your OYO account. This ensures that you do not face pesky interrogation or needless hassle when you arrive at your hotel. All you need is a local ID to check-in (via).
From a product point of view, this is a new feature – but OYO has been known to *growth hack* by having their sales team sell coupons outside colleges.
Plus, this is quite a u-turn for Oyo which earlier had ‘unmarried couples not allowed’ tag.
