I have received a good number of calls related to the upcoming product strategy workshop and since today is the last day to avail the early bird offer, here are a couple of FAQs that will help you decide about your participation in the workshop:
– Will this workshop help me find ways to raise fund?
No – this is a product/strategy workshop and the content can be taken to any product company (in whatever stage they are in). This isn’t an entrepreneurial workshop – ‘Startups’ are a context here.
– I work for one of the big services companies and want to attend the workshop.
Please don’t. For the simple reason that the context here is very important, i.e. startups. For instance, we won’t get into the details of ‘what makes a great PRD’ – and that’s crucial for you to sail successfully in your career.
– Is this like a B-school thingy?
Well, if you have been reading NextBigWhat.com, you’d realize that we have stayed away from using jargons – same applies to pretty much everything we do!
– Who are the other participants?
So far we have a very good mix of confirmed registrations – a manufacturing guy who relies on his software for operational improvement, couple of online+offline startups, a wannapreneur and a very successful mid-stage startup which is planning product extensions.
Essentially, the core idea is to have certain takeaways for each and every participant so that they can start using the learnings from next morning onwards.
