Vawsum wants to help schools connect with parents & students

Vawsum is a Kolkata based startup that is attempting to bridge the gap between parents and teachers in schools. This is a problem that a number of companies in the West have made great headway on – apps like Remind and ClassDojo pioneered this space. In India, however, this space is still developing and the functionalities need to take into account certain unique cultural factors. Vawsum allows teachers to send updates to parents, but also allows students to send questions and receive answers. It has fee payment, attendance, and school bus tracking features built into the app/solution.

Vawsum is an engagement application which helps different stakeholders of a school engage and collaborate with each other instantly. Using Vawsum, teachers can send instant updates to parents and students; students can get their doubts resolved, and schools can stay in touch with parents, teachers, students, alumni and admission seekers.
