Veddis Ventures launches incubator in Gurgaon, to back early stage companies

London headquartered Veddis Ventures is launching an incubator in Gurgaon. The early stage venture fund headed by Vikrant Bhargava, co-founder of Partygaming– the company which went public in 2005, has named the new incubator Veddis Advisors.

Veddis, an investment group with offices in  Gibraltar and London is launching a start-up incubator in Gurgaon. Founded by Vikrant Bhargava, one of the co-founders of Partygaming Plc, Veddis has named the incubator – Veddis Advisors.

It is looking to incubate its own companies as well as invest in high growth companies. Currently, Veddis has three in-house start-ups – Favista, Rovolt and Veddis Solars. Manish Sinha, CEO of Veddis Advisors says, “The team at Veddis has the experience and global exposure to mentor young entrepreneurs and we are looking forward to working with them to build global businesses.The companies which Veddis is currently incubating are Favista- a real estate advisory company, Rovolt – which is creating stories and gaming content that cut across cultures and Veddis- which is deploying large scale solar powered street lighting and equipment across India.

Vikrant Bhargava is an IIT Delhi graduate and was the Group Marketing Director of PartyGaming Plc, a London Stock Exchange listed company.

Manish Sinha is an alumnus of IIT Delhi and McKinsey and brings experience in running large operations at Capital One in the US and WNS.

Misam Abbas is a computer science engineer from IIT Delhi and has an MBA from London Business School. Misam has over 7 years experience in working with start-ups.

Vishal Bhargava is an electrical engineer from IIT Bombay and an INSEAD alumnus. Vishal ran iMediaBlitz, one of the largest affiliate networks for Amazon and Walmart.

Anupam Sinha is an MBA from IIFT and was head of marketing at PartyGaming handling a budget of 200 mn USD annually.

Veddis’s other investments in India include Logicserve, a search marketing firm which has recently launched an online price comparison site, CompareRaja.
