VentureNursery Angels Invest In Search and Discovery Platform FindURClass

findurclassVentureNursery has announced a seed investment by its angels in, a search and discovery platform that connects class seekers of extracurricular activities and hobbies to educators building a community benefitting both. The firm has raised an undisclosed amount from VentureNursery’s Angels including Artha Venture Partners, Amit Patni, Arihant Patni, Vishal Maheshwari, Samir Shah, Anand Ladsariya, Anuj Golecha, Vikas & Kanwal Kapoor, Krishna & Aditya Jhunjhunwala, Nishant Raisoni and Nitin Agarwal.
FindURClass was a graduate of VentureNursery’s 5th Acceleration Program. Utilizing this fund, the firm is upgrading their technology, user interface and experience. The new site will be live by the end of the year. Users can register on the website to get a sneak peek and invitation to the private beta launch.
FindURClass aims to solve the common problems faced by parents and adults like finding a class related to a hobby or to pursue any extracurricular activities, decisions about which are currently made based on recommendations from friends and family. FindURClass provides with all the information that is needed to make an informed decision when selecting a class. Class providers are also curated to ensure standards of quality.
FindURClass launched their website last year in Mumbai. They currently have over 6000 classes listed across 10 different categories – Art & Craft, Fitness and Health, Music, Singing & Dance, Cooking, Beauty & Fashion, Photography, Film and Acting, Sports & Adventure, Languages and Education.
VentureNursery’s other investments this year include mobile-only travel marketplace SeekSherpa and crowdfunding platform Catapoolt.
