Entertainment network Viacom18 has extended its maternity leave benefits from the current three months to nine months of paid leave. With a reported 38% of the company’s workforce being women, the company has introduced a slew of benefits, to increase the number of female employees and to retain talent.
The company is also offering female workers medical leaves for check-ups during pregnancy, and flexible work options for three months for returning mothers, and a day care facility.
