Financial investment analysis and research portal, Investopresto has launched a social virtual stock trading application. The application is available on the Google Play Store for Android phones.
The Investopresto app is a highly social, gamified, virtual stock trading application that allows you to trade using virtual money, on real stock prices of stocks trading on the BSE and NSE on your Android phone. The app allows you to learn and practice your stock trading skills without the risk of losing real money. The virtual trading game also pits you against the best traders all over India and also gives you a chance to see which stocks they are buying/selling and how they are making money.
All players start off with Rs 5 lakh of virtual money, which you can use to buy stocks. One can then sell stocks at any time and the sale proceeds are added back to your “cash pool”. At any given time, the net worth of an individual is the total of the market value of all the stocks that person owns. Virtual Stock Trading was already available on the Investropresto website.
Earlier this year, Investopresto had raised a round of investment from angel investors based in Singapore.
