Injoos (read our coverage of Injoos), a SAAS based social collaboration platform has been acquired (all stock deal) by KineticGlue, an enterprise focused social collaboration company started by Vivek Paul (ex-Wipro).
The basic concept behind Injoos is to decrease the email clutter that goes around in any team and instead, focus on productivity by being the single point of usage for all things related to a project.
The site lets users create groups – one can join other communities based on interests (ranges from RFID to Startups etc), post news items to groups, discuss topics, manage files (i.e online version control) etc.
Injoos was founded in 2008 by Jagdish Vasishtha and Srinivas Seshadri, both formerly with Infosys. Jagdish and Srinivas will both join the company’s board and respectively be COO and CTO of KineticGlue.
