Digital marketing solutions provider Vizury Interactive, has raised nearly $9 million in a series B round of funding led by the venture capital arm of phone maker Nokia and existing investors Ojas Ventures and Inventus Capital Partners.
Existing angel investors who led the seed round of funding also continue to remain invested, the company said. The funds will be used to strengthen the company’s presence across Asia, Australia and South America, step up R&D efforts and drive product innovations.
Vizury’s re-targeting solution Visitor Relationship Management (VRM) enables eCommerce and online travel companies to better target advertisements using digital data in a phased manner. The solution is used by companies such as Webjet, Virgin Airlines, Expedia, Zuji, Netshoes, Viajanet, Zozo, Kokuken, Ctrip, Yintai, Jabong, Jet Airways and MakeMyTrip.
With VRM, Vizury has witnessed a remarkable 450% growth over the past year, the company claims. Anupam Rastogi, principal at Nokia Growth Partners Advisors India, joined Vizury’s Board.
In February last year, Vizury raised series A from Ojas entures and Inventus Capital. The ad delivery platform is also integrated with publishers, ad-networks, ad-exchanges and tech market places.
