Mobile survey platform VoxApp has raised angel funding from a group of Indian angel investors and some US based angels. VoxApp enable brands and research companies to conduct consumer feedback studies such as brand awareness and ad recall studies using the mobile phone.
The funding was raised from investors including Blume Ventures, Narayanan Shadagopan (MD, Pragati India Fund), Palaash Ventures, Sachin Bhatia (entrepreneur, co-founder – MakeMyTrip), US based investors Ramesh Haridas (CEO, Parakweet, NY), Vikas Taneja (MD, BCG Boston) and is backed by Sidharth Rao, CEO, Webchutney.
The startup was founded in 2012 by Madhu Sudhan, formerly Principal at Pragati India Fund with co-founders who have worked in Slideshare and SAP Labs. The company, head-quartered in New Delhi, has completed the beta launch of its enterprise product and is currently in the process of deploying it.
The startup said that it will use the newly raised funds for product development.
Blume ventures along with Mumbai Angels and Chennai Angels had recently invested in online personal care and beauty product portal Purplle, through a Series A funding.
